OUR HISTORY

After several years in the furniture industry, Christine saw the need to bridge the gap between A&D firms, end users, sales reps and their support staff. With combined experience as a designer, project manager, and sales representative, she knew her knowledge could help open the door to communication, and educate others how to work better together.

In 2011, she created Blue River Services to bring that vision to market. As Blue River Services grew, the demand for design support increased. As designers joined her growing team, Christine taught them how to “think like a sales rep” to best assist our clients. That mindset has enabled Blue River Services to support manufacturers, dealers, and A&D clients in all project phases. Christine continues to provide education to end users and their vendors regarding the navigation of the furniture design process.

In addition to industry-best design, Blue River Services offers marketing support, procurement advice, bid services and consulting services to our clients. Our mission is to create inspiring work spaces while focusing on accuracy, efficiency and profitability.

Christine Beyer

As the founder and owner, Christine leads the Blue River Services team to collaborate with clients from both a design and sales perspective.

Christine has over 30 years of experience in the commercial furniture industry. Throughout her career, her focus has been on improving dealership capabilities in the sales, design, and project management disciplines.  

Christine's experience and education give her an intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the industry, and she knows how to bridge departments together for maximum effectiveness.  

Combining operational understanding with overall expertise in the contract furniture industry, her client relationships include multiple Fortune 500 companies and a large variety of firms across the commercial, healthcare, and government sectors.

Christine holds a Bachelors of Arts in Interior Design from Bowling Green University.

Troy Beyer

Troy provides operational and organizational expertise to the Blue River Services team, and is the Principal for clients seeking organizational improvement.

A former executive with operations experience at Fortune 500 companies, Troy brings perspective from outside the industry and a practiced talent for strategic planning to the Blue River Services team.

Troy finds synergies across teams and focuses on ways to increase overall organizational effectiveness.  He has the ability to speak in both strategic and tactical terms, and bridges the gap between the "why" and "how" frequently found in our modern workplaces.

He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering from the University of Minnesota, and is a Project Management Professional (PMP.)  He uses a problem solving mindset with organizational skills to encourage continual improvement with clients.
